Karoline Ikpea is set for Nollywood
America-base teen model Caroline Ipkea is set to hit set in Nollywood come December this year. The teenage model we gathered made the list of actors
Caroline Ipkea, 17, born to Nigerian parent, hails from Edo State and spent most of her early life in Nigeria before traveling to the US to further her education. Despite being a science student with dreams of becoming a chemical engineer Caroline also spares time following her passion for art as a model, actor and singer.
Acting Inspiration:
I have been taking Theater courses for three, school years. Presently, I am mastering a script for a school play named "Cross fire" in which i play a role of a man, its quite challenging but fun. I also assist with stage management for school plays,Occasionally, i help actors master their lines and gestures. I am also per- taking in a play named "Legally blonde" I was chosen to do few dance steps for a particular scene in Legally blonde.
Role Models in Industry:
As an actress, singer, model and TV presenter, Omawumi and Waje are my top Nollywood mentors. I chose them because they have much significance in the Nollywood industry. They both stand out as the powerful women in the Nollywood industry. They haven't only displayed their talents as wonderful singers with angelic voices, but have been able to show their acting skills. Waje recently
shot a movie called "The Tunnel" powerful woman right there. I really do respect people who can multitask and come out with wonderful results at the same time. Near Future Plans: In my opinion, the only way forward as an actor and Science student is having a positive mind. If you have a positive mindset that you can do everything, there's no way it would come out bad. Determination is success, it takes you places you never thought you could go. Furthermore, Science and being an actor
makes me happy, its like basically doing what i love and having fun with it.

Photos: Cameroon player Headbutts his own teammate during world cup match
The Cameroonians, who lost 4-0 to Croatia were so frustrated that they turned against each other...lol. In the 90th minute of the match, Cameroon defender Benoit Assou-Ekotto headbutted teammate Benjamin Moukandjo after exchanging a few words with him. Another teammate Pierre Webo had to break the pair up as it seemed they were ready to forget the football they came to Brazil to play and fight each other in front of millions of football fans. I did a screen grab from the video.
Before the headbutt, Cameroon midfielder Alex Song got a red card in the 40th minute of the match for elbowing Croatia striker Mario in the back. The red card reduced Cameroon to 10 men

Because I know what you guys go through to promote your
songs and be heard, because I was once a very talented music artiste like you, I
once face this same struggle for fame and I feel the pain in your heart when
you can’t get that support you so desire from the real people who make things
happen... and with my level of exposure and success in the entertainment
industry today, am sure I can share one or two key view and possible solutions
with you guys.
I was an artiste turn talent manager and promoter. I couldn’t
make it through due to financial constrains… so I went back to school, get a
degree in Business Administration and return to the industry as a major
industry player… my passion has been to transform the industry struggle faced
by many talented artistes like me… who can’t watch their career and showbiz
dream sleep away.
I am now into full media; I run my own label, produce my own
movies and TV programs, worked with other major stars, run my own artiste management
with 5 good artistes. I decided to run as a major player cause I realize my
passion is not all about me. If the race is about me, then I don’t need to work
with any artiste. I could just go straight back to the studio and produce my
own songs, promote myself to the top and enjoy the stardom. But I think am more
comfortable and happier working with talents and watching them grown.
On my BBM, Whatsapp, Twitter and Facebook, I have loads of
music promoter, PR and so call online publicists. I read loads and loads of BC
and adverts they post and I pity any talented new-comer artiste who has no
money to spend and probably have no backing of an experienced industry person
who knows his/her way round. The truth is most of this guys are just hustlers
like you, hungry lions, looking around to exploit artistes and the inexperience
ones.
After studying these scenarios for a very long time I try to
figure out a way to help. I have two great entertainment shows running on DSTV
and Startimes (BigspinShow and Making of A Star). I deal with varieties of
artistes from new comers to the super stars… Truth be told, as much as I want
to see many artistes grow, I still can’t single handedly change the industry, I
can’t sponsor more than an artiste or two at a time.
I am so concern; I feel your pain… now we want to see how we
can all work together and fight these industry vultures who take advantage of
you.
Drop a comment if you feel for change and let’s find a supportive
solution
I need minimum of 100 artistes to place a comment to know am
not alone, before I roll out the supportive solution on my mind.
